Ruth’s Chris Steak House in downtown Columbia runs several private dining rooms, and its Governor’s Boardroom seats up to 12 — a fit so exact it’s almost eerie for a leadership dinner or a small-team holiday meal. It’s about a half mile down Main Street from our Lexington venue, which makes a dinner-then-axes double header genuinely walkable.

Segra Park’s MUSC Health Conference Room takes up to 24 at $450 for up to eight hours — a budget-friendly sleeper pick if you want the ballpark setting without the ballroom bill (more on Segra below).

And yes — a team of 12 fits beautifully on three or four lanes at Craft Axe Throwing Lexington. Up to four throwers share each lane, every session includes ninja stars and “The Stick All,” and the room itself is smaller and more intimate than our other venues, so a small group never feels lost in it. For a party of 20 to 75: spaces you can actually take over

This is the awkward middle — too big for a dining room, too small to justify a ballroom. The move here is a space your group can dominate.

Eight Sixty Station (554 Meeting St, West Columbia) is a 4,000-square- foot rentable event space handling up to 99 guests, with tables, chairs, AV, and a catering kitchenette included. Pricing is quote-based with a 50% deposit. It’s a blank canvas about five minutes across the river from the Vista, so your holiday theme is whatever you bring.

Steel Hands Brewing (2350 Foreman St, Cayce) hosts celebrations, business meetings, and private parties in its brewery and taproom, open Tuesday through Sunday. Location-wise it splits the difference — roughly ten minutes from our Columbia venue and fifteen from Lexington — handy when your team commutes from both sides of the river.

Craft Axe Throwing Lexington is our recommendation for holiday parties up to around 45 people — that’s our sizing guidance, not a fire-code number, based on eight lanes at up to four throwers each plus the bar and seating around them. Ruth’s Chris — Palmetto Ballroom seats up to 220, with the Carolina Wren and Yellow Jessamine Room taking up to 80, and company holiday parties are a named specialty. The full-service route: food, staff, and polish handled for you.

Segra Park (1640 Freed St, BullStreet District), home of the Columbia Fireflies, rents its Club Lounge for 500 standing or 350 seated, with nine HDTVs and a stocked bar, at $1,600–$2,300 for an 8–10-hour block — and “holiday gatherings” are on their list. One note: the Fireflies Holiday Lights show runs November–December nights, which is great atmosphere but worth a direct conversation with their events team ([email protected]) about date availability.
