What should I wear to splatter paint?
Assume everything you wear will be retired. Even with protective gear, paint gets to the edges of you.
- Clothes you don’t care about. Old t-shirt, old shorts or sweats. Nothing new, nothing white, nothing borrowed.
- Closed-toe shoes you can hose off. Sandals are a bad idea in a room with wet paint on the floor.
- Tie long hair back and skip the dangling jewelry.

Our primary paint experience is located on the second floor and is accessible only by stairs. If accessibility matters for anyone in your group, email us first rather than booking and hoping. It takes one message and we’d rather sort it before you arrive than at the bottom of a staircase.
Paint and axes: the combo night
This is the part no paint-and-sip studio in Columbia can match. At 700 Gervais St you can splatter a canvas and then go throw axes without moving your car.
Axe throwing at our Columbia venue runs $25 per thrower for one hour ($22 each for groups of three or more) or $35 for 90 minutes ($30 each for three or more). That’s on top of your splatter session — pair a $20 canvas with an hour on the lanes and you have a genuinely unusual $45 night out.
The venue backs it up: 17 throwing lanes, ninja stars (small and large) and “The Stick All” included in sessions, a full bar with craft brews and seltzers, skee-ball, darts, a pool table upstairs, wall-sized checkers, Connect 4, and Scrabble, cornhole, and free Thursday trivia — “Axes & Answers” at 7 PM.
